Here's a hype video for you:
I'll break down some of the notable places in this video.
This was in Kalaw in Myanmar, a township with incredible scenery around it. We'd get a tour from this town to another, that included the boat ride on Inle Lake at the start of this video. Myanmar was my favourite country on this trip as it felt very authentic and the people were very friendly. I felt some anti-Western sentiment from locals in Laos, a country that suffered during the Vietnam War.
These hot springs were on the road from Chang Mai to Pai in Thailand. Pai is worth going to due to its hippy vibe and its location amongst the Thai foothills. The springs were just the right temperature to bath in.
A man named Chalermchai Kositpipat crafted these hands out of clay - what you see here is just a portion of his entire work at "Wat Rong Khun". It's located on the road from Chang Mai to Laos.
This is a sample of Laos' beauty. This footage was taken on the boat ride along the Mekong River, which began on the Thai border and took us to the Loatian town of Luang Prabang.
This water park exemplifies Thailand - it has some awesome commercial attractions as well as some great quintessential Asian experiences. The park is located in Chang Mai.
This was taken amongst the forests of Vang Vieng, Laos. It involved a hefty but beautiful hike to the top of a mountain where a cabin was situated, where we slept the night and descended via zip line the following morning.
A view of the township of Vang Vieng.
Early morning in Bagan, Myanmar, a plain populated with hundreds of small-to-large pyramid-like structures.
Here's the route I took during this three week adventure:
I would recommend Myanmar the most due to its authenticity, while Thailand has more creature comforts, while Laos is the most stunning geographically.
